Getting About In Quesada
Hi there, I think I know the answer to this question but I'll ask it anyway.
Is there any kind of public transport system in/around Quesada.
I have some friends using our apartment this summer but I'm not sure how they will get around as they don't want to drive. I know they can hire bicycles which will help a bit but if anyone knows of any kind of public transport I would be really grateful for any information.
hahah this is always confusing, its the quesada country club originally jcs. If i say the quesada club people say "do you mean Qs" which is the other one next door and now just called the club, I beleive ???
Anyway its the one with the kiddies pirate ship/play area and outdoor pool
good luck with it!
kind regards
Debra
Hey, thanks for that information, I really didn't think there was any public transport.
One last thing, can you tell me where JCs country club is?
Thanks so much for your help.
If you tell me where you are or give me a landmark that your familiar with on quesada ill be able to give you more precise directions I think.
kind regards

I am familiar with the arches, Gama supermarket beside The Post Box and also the big hotel (names escapes me at the moment).
Hi im sure the quesada country club is listed in the services section on this website, if so there should be a map attached to tell you where they are.
Youve probably guessed im useless at directions all I can say is its up from Gamma and the Post Box by about a ten minute walk.
sorry if thats a bit vague but someone on here will give exact directions im sure
kind regards

What is the route that the bus takes, does it go through Quesada itself or down past La Marquesa and into Rojales? Many thanks.
Your quite right, the Country Club is listed in our Services section complete with a map. Goodness, todays technology, I just can't keep up!
Thanks very much for your help with this, I will be back in Quesada in about 4 weeks time and can check out the timetable etc. for my guests.
I think they are going to love their visit to Quesada as its in such a good location but transport is really needed. Betweek a bus and bicycles I'm sure they will have a great adventure in the sun.
Thanks again for your help

I'm sorry but I think the bus service is only once per day from the Country Club and that goes to Torrevieja in the morning at 08:45ish and returns at 13:00ish. There may be others at the 'Arches' but last time I looked they didn't have times published.
I think this once daily bus to Torrevieja leaves from by Harris bar at 8.45 and returns at 1pm. On Thursdays there are 2 buses (which leave from by Harris Bar) at 9.30am & 10.30am which are free to Rojales market and return (from outside Mercadona in Rojales) at midday and 1pm. I think that is it as far as public transport is concerned in Quesada.
Hi folks
please click on the link, its from 6 months ago but it seems we have conflicting info because there are conflicting services ?

Sorry Debra but I can't find the link you suggested. I live near the country club/s and would be delighted if there was an hourly service as I think that what the area needs (if only to go to La Marina, which seems to be 'lively').
The only bus service that I know is the Vegabus. Agotense do one to Guardamar but never yet worked out the times and only think it goes through the centre.
Pity we don't have a Jeff that we can blame.....
There is a bus service on quesada that will take your guests into rojales and into torrevieja.
I think they run on the hour, the only one im absolutley sure about is the five past the hour outside of JCs country club, there is a timetable there so it would be easy enough to check or ask in the club for details
kind regards
